Linda Blair

Linda Blair has been a clinical psychologist for forty years. Originally from the USA, she has spent all of her working life in the UK. The Fairytale Therapist is a quirky work of fiction in which a therapist moves to a rural part of Wales to set up a practice. The only thing is, the characters only visit on Tuesday afternoon, and they are straight out of fairytales.

Linda Broom

Linda Broom has always loved writing and had already published one book, Granny Says… when she approached Jem for assistance in writing her first children’s novel. Using as inspiration the stories her late husband David used to tell their grandchildren on walks in the woods close to their home, Linda has fashioned a world where the Gibiloes roam. Jem has worked with Linda on both of her children's novels thus far, publishing Journey to Gibiloe Island: Enlightenment Island, and The Island of Darkness.
There are plans for more novels in the series.

Lucy Pope

Lucy Pope is proof that it’s never too late to realise your dreams. Lucy first became an author at the tender age of ninety-two, when Jem published her children's book, Lucy and the Bear: A Vivid Memory. Answering a call for help from Lucy's nursing home, and with the incredibly selfless assistance of artist Mesha Kneen, Jo and Michael managed to put the book together in record time. The result is a delightful tale about a young girl who befriends a family of bears.

Loz Moore

Loz Moore is a decorated British Army officer who experienced the horrors of Afghanistan at the peak of the War against Terrorism. His experiences led to Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and the collapse of his world. In his darkest hours, Loz wrote a journal of his battle against PTSD and a self-help guide, using himself as the model. Michael worked with Loz on the final part of the trilogy; the path to recovery that took years to achieve. The result is The Way of the Nomad, an unforgiving account of how anyone can fall into, and recover from, the depths of despair.

Jo Price

Jo Price took inspiration from her grandmother’s diary in the build-up to the Japanese attack on Hong Kong in December 1941 to write her novel, The Suitcase. The then British colony fell in a fortnight in what became known as ‘Black Christmas’. Jo tells the story brilliantly in The Suitcase, the first of a trilogy of novels that charts her grandmother’s experiences before, during and after being a Japanese Prisoner of War. Both harrowing and uplifting, The Suitcase provides a timely reminder, should we ever need it, of just how strong women can truly be.
