I'm a mum, an author, a lifelong reader and someone who rarely says no to a good coffee.
The best writing buddies.
For years I wanted to write a book.
I bought the books, read the advice and convinced myself I needed to know more before I could begin. The truth? I was mostly getting in my own way.
Eventually, I stopped waiting for the perfect moment and simply started writing.
That book became The Suitcase.
It taught me something I'll never forget.
Most of us don't need permission to be creative.
